Georgia Gordon-Martin, Total Rewards Administration Manager, De Lage Landen Financial Services Inc.
Master of Management and Master of Science in Information Science Alumna
I decided to pursue a master's degree because I wanted to develop specialized managerial and entrepreneurial skills for career advancement. I was confident that Penn State would deliver quality education at a convenient location, great faculty members, and flexible class schedules that would afford me the opportunity to work full-time while pursuing higher education.
I obtained a Master of Management in 1998 and a Master of Science in Information Science in 2001, and was selected for the Warren V. Musser Graduate Fellowship from 1998 to 2001. I have benefited tremendously from the programs. My Penn State education sets me apart in the job marketplace and has opened many doors for me.
Penn State Great Valley consistently has a great learning focus and available tuition scholarships and grants that have benefited me greatly. The flexible class schedules allowed me to balance and manage school, career, and my personal life easily, which enabled me to also spend time reading, biking and visiting with family and friends!
