NCATE_LogoWelcome to Penn State Great Valley's Education Division where teaching and training professionals advance their careers through master's degrees, state certification, certificate programs, and Act 48 credit in programs approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  Penn State is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).  The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction also carries the Pennsylvania State Education Association's (PSEA) Seal of Recognition, the highest level of endorsement that the association awards to graduate and professional development programs.

It's easy to start our programs. Up to 9 hours of credit taken before formally applying to a graduate program will count toward your degree. You can start with a course, begin your certification, finish a certificate or build toward a master's degree.
