Easier access to Penn State Great Valley via PA Turnpike
2/14/13 For those who travel to the campus, access has just got easier, shorter, and more convenient. The Pennsylvania Turnpike's new Route 29 all-electronic interchange (Exit 320) is now open and accessible from Route 29/Morehall Road and Atwater Drive just a few miles from the Penn State Great Valley campus in Malvern. The new interchange, with eastbound and westbound entry and exit ramps, provides a clear alternative to U.S. Route 202 and other local roads that serve the busy Route 29 Corridor. This access significantly shortens commuting times to and from the Great Valley Corporate Center where the campus is situated. Motorists will enter and exit the new interchange from an access ramp that connects with existing Route 29/Morehall Road at a new signalized, multi-lane intersection about a half mile south of Yellow Springs Road. This interchange will be unstaffed and its use limited to the Turnpike's E-Z Pass customers. Users will slip smoothly onto the turnpike from Route 29 or exit the turnpike to a new signalized intersection with Route 29.
