Education Program Associate (Manager, Workforce Solutions)
Penn State Great Valley located in Malvern, PA is recruiting an Education Program Association (Manager, Workforce Solutions). Duties include: managing evening open enrollment programs, identifying opportunities for new programs, and managing all aspects of development and delivery of new programs. Responsible for working with internal and external clients to develop relationships that will foster sustainable corporate training opportunities and working with professional associations and other external groups to identify opportunities for new programs and promote existing programs. Also responsible for developing relationships within the corporate community to identify new business opportunities in corporate training; developing customized training plans in response to corporate inquires; providing informational presentations about customized corporate training and campus-based professional development open enrollment programs; developing student recruitment strategies for open enrollment programs; managing all aspects of evening open enrollment programs (student recruitment, course scheduling, instructor selection, course evaluation); identifying opportunities for and managing development and delivery of new evening open enrollment programs; working with campus marketing department to promote and market evening open enrollment programs; working with other Continuing Professional Education (CPE) staff members to develop and implement strategies to promote CPE programs; working with subject matter experts to develop customized training programs based on client need; conducting training needs analyses for corporate clients to define training needs; promote corporate awareness of campus and CPE Department through development of industry specific symposia and events; representing campus and CPE Department at professional society events. This job will be filled as intermediate or mid-level, depending on the successful candidate`s education and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) plus at least 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must have experience working in a corporate training function; experience in curriculum development and in supporting and/or managing a learning and development function is desired. This position requires some evening hours. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with good possibility of re-funding. Enrollment Services Specialist (Enrollment Coordinator)
Penn State Great Valley located in Malvern, PA, is seeking a full-time Enrollment Coordinator. Duties include the following: coordinates marketing, recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies, plans, and activities for assigned program areas for the School of Graduate Professional Studies. The job provides a wide array of consultative services to prospective and current students who typically are professionals employed in organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region, including representing the University at recruitment events, advising on the admissions and/or enrollment processes, and coordinating with other University and School departments to provide needed services. The job collaborates with other campus offices to develop and produce effective communication plans; assists in developing and maintaining the departmental budget; prepares proposals in support of campus initiatives; and develops and presents information in a variety of forums, coordinating with employer organizations, professional associations, and community groups. The job requires the ability to interface well with a wide variety of students and prospective students, faculty, and other representatives of other University offices; build and maintain relationships with senior management, external partners, and campus/school stakeholders; resolve complex problems; provide leadership; analyze, evaluate, and report on data associated with enrollment management; and recommend new or enhanced programs to meet the campus`s strategic goals. This job contributes significantly to the achievement of enrollment and tuition revenue goals of the campus. This job will be filled as intermediate or mid-level, depending upon the successful candidate's education and experience. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills and flexibility are a plus. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with good possibility of re-funding.
