Parking at Penn State Great Valley
Penn State Great Valley student parking is free. No permits are needed.
You must park in white lined parking spots. Do not park in reserved spots or around yellow curbs. Please do not block the walkways into the buildings.
Any vehicle parked on campus shall be parked at the owner's risk. The University assumes no responsibility or liability for theft, damage, or personal injury. The University reserves the right to tow, at the owner's expense, any vehicle illegally parked in any on-campus location.

Student Shuttle Service
Penn State Great Valley offers students a shuttle service to and from the Malvern, Pa. SEPTA regional rail train station Monday through Thursday when classes are in session, weather permitting.
The shuttle picks up students at the Malvern train station once a day, arriving at 5:00 p.m. and departing at 5:15 p.m. sharp. Students with reservations may catch the shuttle at the Malvern train station lower parking lot and travel to the Penn State Great Valley Main Building.
At the end of each evening session of classes, the shuttle picks up students in front of the campus’s Main Building, departing the campus by 9:15 p.m. for the Malvern train station. Students should plan to catch a train leaving Malvern at approximately 10:00 p.m.
If you are interested in riding the shuttle, you must
- Be a currently enrolled student
- Be in registered status, which means that you have paid your tuition.
When boarding the shuttle, you may be asked to show a Penn State ID card, and the shuttle driver may verify that you are eligible to ride.
If you are interested in taking the shuttle, contact Penn State Great Valley’s Office of Enrollment Management and Student Services at 610-648-3275 to reserve a space.
Seats on the shuttle are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge for the shuttle. The campus reserves the right to cancel the shuttle at any time and/or to change the shuttle route.
During periods of severe inclement weather, contact the campus’s Office of Student Services at 610-648-3275 to verify that the shuttle is able to run. Recorded messages about shuttle operations will also be posted on the campus’s “weather emergency hotline” at 610-648-3399 during bad weather.
Note: The shuttle also provides limited service to/from two nearby apartment complexes where a number of students live. If you live or plan to live at one of these locations and want to use the Penn State Great Valley shuttle to travel to campus for classes, contact Penn State Great Valley’s Office of Student Services for reservations and schedule information. The two apartment complexes are:
