Current Students:  Information Science

The Master of Science in Information Science (MSIS) prepares professionals to design and manage information systems.  The program offers a balance of information systems and management courses offered through the Engineering and Management Divisions. The program includes

  • the role and management of emerging information technologies
  • system design
  • software engineering methodologies
  • information ethics and management
  • contemporary IT architectures 

The Master of Science in Information Science is 39 credits (13 courses). The program includes Engineering and Management core courses (18 credits) and Engineering electives from our suggested tracks or one of your own creation from multiple tracks (18 credits).  A three credit capstone seminar course is also required.
