Alumni Achievement Award
Brad Sinrod, ’03 MBA, was one of 13 alumni to receive the Alumni Achievement Award - a new award created by the Penn State Alumni Association to honor outstanding professional accomplishments by alumni 35 years of age or younger. The award recipients were recognized at an awards dinner this past spring.
Created last year, the Alumni Achievement Award is intended to recognize young alumni for outstanding personal and professional accomplishments and to engage those alumni in the life of the University. As leaders in their professional fields, alumni are nominated by an academic college and invited by the President of the University to return to campus to share their expertise with students, faculty, and administrators.
Sinrod was recognized for his entrepreneurial ventures. Currently, he is president of the Spring Mill Group, L.L.C., a real estate development company that has more than 500 residential building site under development.
Prior to his career in real estate, Sinrod created IPO.com, an online financial services provider. During his four years as CEO, the company became a leader in the industry. In 2000, the company was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the “The Best of the Web.”
