Dina Daniele Creates Scholarship for Single Parents
Dina Daniele, '89 M.Ed, has become the second alumna to create a named scholarship endowment.
The Dina Daniele Scholarship Fund will provide support for adult graduate students with special preference to students who are single parents or legal guardians of children under the age of 18 years old.
“I have been very fortunate in my career and I want to share that good fortune with other graduate students, “ said Daniele, who is now an account manager forThe Graham Company in Philadelphia.
Daniele, who lives in Dresher with her two children, Scott 12 and Marisa, 8, shares plenty of empathy with the challenges of being a mom, an executive, and a student. “I don’t separate myself as an executive or as a mom,” she says. “And I think this brings an incredible advantage to my job because of the reliance I have on strong relationships.”
Daniele involves her children in both aspects of her life: “I bring them to work with me. I talk about my day with them. I think exposing my children to my career makes me a better parent.”
