Kahai, Ph.D., associate professor of management information systems, and fellow in the Center for Leadership Studies of the State University of New York at Binghamton (http://www.cls.binghamton.edu/), Bradford Baker, organizational behavior doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business, John J. Sosik, Ph.D., professor of management and organization and MLD professor-in-charge, and MLD students and alumni to learn more about how advanced information technology (e.g., social media, virtual teams, gaming, crowd sourcing, big data) is changing the way we lead. The event will feature cutting-edge research and best practices for harnessing technologies to develop leadership behaviors linked to the highest levels of individual, team, and organizational performance. Discussions will include how students and alumni of the MLD program have used these practices to promote positive change in their organizations and life.
