ART + SCIENCE Exhibit Opening Reception

This new exhibit in Penn State Great Valley's Henry Gallery focuses on how artists and scientists are more alike than opposite in how they approach problems with open-minded inquisitiveness.  The exhibit features select works by six regional artists: Ruth Ansel, Sue Benarcik, Gina Bosworth, Gynnie Moody, Mary Targonski, and Valetta.

In this talk, author Bruce Grierson reveals the top secrets that this extraordinary project unearthed on aging well.

Based in Philadelphia, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2007 as a model for the 21st-century American orchestra. Founded by award-winning Artistic Director Jeri Lynne Johnson, Black Pearl’s mission is to take the audience beyond spectatorship to participation in the musical experience by combining artistic excellence with cultural diversity and innovative community engagement.
